Anonymous source and conversion measurement
We use a small first-party measurement script to understand which pages are useful, whether a visit came from an AI or search platform, and whether a visitor opens a loan form, chat or other call to action.
- An anonymous visitor ID is stored in your browser and is rotated after no more than 90 days. It is not your name, email address or phone number.
- A separate browser-session ID lasts for the current browser session.
- For page measurement, we record the page path only, such as
/rates/, and the referring website's host only, such aschatgpt.com. We do not save an arbitrary query string. - Only five campaign parameters are allowlisted:
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_contentandutm_term. - Source is classified as ChatGPT/OpenAI, Copilot/Bing Chat, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, another AI source, search, another referral, or direct/hidden. When there is no usable referrer or campaign value, we use direct/hidden rather than guessing a named AI platform.
- Events can include page views, calls to action, form or chat opening, WeChat clicks and a successful enquiry submission. We may also record page language, optional experiment/content identifiers, broad country, device type and an automated-traffic flag.
The GEO/AI event analytics table does not store your IP address or contact details. It receives the anonymous identifiers and limited fields listed above.
Loan enquiry form
The enquiry form is optional. If you submit it, it sends the contact details you choose to provide: name, email, phone number and/or WeChat ID. At least one contact method is required.
Depending on the path you take through the form, it may also send your loan purpose, property stage and estimated price, deposit band, current loan balance, refinance goal, business type and funding need, intended use of funds, residency or visa category, employment and income band, existing debt category, property location and timing.
The submission also carries the limited source information described above, the site and language, browser user-agent information and a broad request country. We use these details to understand the enquiry, route and prepare a response, avoid duplicate submissions, and measure which sources produce genuine enquiries. A successfully processed enquiry may be included in the adviser notification workflow so the team can respond.
If the enquiry endpoint fails, the form displays an error and allows a retry. It does not show a successful submission when the request was not accepted.
Service behaviour and your choices
Analytics reporting is designed not to block the website or a successfully processed enquiry if the statistics service is unavailable. Blocking the measurement script may reduce our source reporting, but the site's main content remains available.
You can clear this site's local browser storage to remove the anonymous visitor ID from that browser; a new anonymous ID may be created on a later visit. You can also choose not to submit the enquiry form.
